Rawlin Pinto, Chairman and Managing Director.
Rawlin Pinto, founder, has over 27 years of professional expertise in information technology. He drives overall company strategy and his rich experience has helped create a solid foundation for Lauren's vision of delivering accelerated value to the stake holders and customers.
Prior to founding Lauren, Rawlin has held senior management position in Minicomp Ltd, for over 9 years, one of the pioneers of the PC industry in India. Prior to joining Minicomp he was with MMC Ltd; one of the first companies to launch the IBM compatible PC's in India and was a key member of the launch team.
Rawlin is a graduate from St. Xavier's College Mumbai and has a management degree.
Ratnakar Kanchan, Director,
Ratnakar Kanchan, co-founder, has over 26 years of professional expertise in information technology.
Prior to co-founding Lauren, Kanchan was part of the Minicomp team responsible for the sales and support in the banking vertical. Prior to Minicomp he was part of the team at Chowgule Industries when they launched one of the first IBM compatible PC's in India. He started his career as programmer in DCM Data Systems.
Kanchan is science graduate from the Mumbai University and holds a management degree from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management studies.
Sushant Panda, Director
Sushant Panda has over 24 years of professional expertise in information technology. Prior to joining Lauren, Sushant was the Head – Technology and Operations at The Chase Manhattan Bank Mumbai for seven years and was involved in the technology platform merging with Morgan Stanley when it was merged with the bank.
Prior to Chase, Sushant was with CMC where he was a team member of “BOLT” the online trading system of BSE. He has also worked in Larsen & Toubro and in Tata Unisys on previous assignments. Sushant is a B.Tech. from IIT, Varanasi and has a management degree from the Asian Institute of Management
Lathesh Shetty, Vice President
Lathesh is responsible for the overall delivery of Lauren's Software Solutions. Lathesh has over 15 years of expertise in the information technology arena handling various aspects including solution architecting, systems analysis and coding.
He joined Lauren in 1993, and has been part of the initial group that has shaped the Lauren software division to it's current avatar. Prior to Lauren, Lathesh started his career with PCS Ltd. one the software development pioneers of IT in India.
Lathesh is a science graduate from Mumbai University.
Avinash Kodwany, Vice President
Avinash heads Lauren’s Services operations including sales and delivery. The services operations cover all services including Hardware/Software support and facilitates management services across the country.
Avinash joined Lauren in 1994 and has been through all the phases of Lauren’s growth. Being initially part of the support team, he has grown to handle various profiles including products and solutions, and marketing as a function before returning to lead the services team of 300+ professionals.
Avinash has done his engineering from Mumbai University and has also pursued professional courses in Software Design and Management.
